Winners of Pharmacovigilance Quiz Honored at SRRI, Poojappura

Thiruvananthapuram: The Siddha Regional Research Institute (SRRI), Poojappura, recently organized an online Pharmacovigilance Quiz to promote drug safety awareness among AYUSH students. The prize distribution ceremony was held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at the Institute’s Mini Conference Hall.

Dr. S. Natarajan, Siddha Research Officer, presented the awards to the winners. Students from Santhigiri Siddha Medical College secured the top three positions:

• First Prize: P. Vibhuthana Prabha – ₹1,500 & Certificate
• Second Prize: G. Abhinaya – ₹750 & Certificate
• Third Prize: C. Harikalyan – ₹500 & Certificate

Around 25 students from various Siddha, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Unani colleges participated in the event. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Natarajan highlighted the importance of such initiatives in raising Pharmacovigilance awareness among budding healthcare professionals. He also assured that more competitive events would be organized in the future to help students stay updated with the latest knowledge in the field.
