🌱🌱 Medicinal Plant Plantation Programme 🌱🌱

Santhigiri Siddha Medical College conducted a meaningful programme with significant future impact in and around the college campus on 17th March 2026 (Tuesday). The programme was inaugurated by Principal Prof. Dr. R. Neelavathy.

Faculty members and 22nd batch students actively participated in the plantation of medicinal plants such as Karinychi, Vennuchi, Vempu, and Vellurukku within the campus. The dedicated effort taken to preserve and nurture these saplings from 03rd March 2026 until the day of planting is highly appreciable.

This initiative was organized to create awareness about the importance of medicinal plant cultivation in the campus. The programme was conducted by the Department of Gunapadam Marunthiyal in collaboration with SSGP from 02:30 PM to 03:00 PM.

Active participation from everyone plays a vital role in the success of such programmes. All are welcome to be part of this green initiative.
