FREE SIDDHA MEDICAL CAMP ORGANIZED ON NATIONAL DOCTORS’ DAY

On Tuesday, July 1, in observance of National Doctors’ Day, a Free Medical Camp was jointly organized by the Clinical Departments and Students’ Union of Shanthigiri Siddha Medical College. The camp offered free consultations and treatments for chronic ailments like neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain, arthritis, skin diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, uterine fibroids, autism, and stroke rehabilitation.

Held from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Free OP Block near Shanthigiri Vegetable Stall, Bypass Road, the camp was led by Principal Dr. D.K. Soundararajan with support from expert Siddha physicians. Free medicines were also distributed.

The camp emphasized lifestyle and dietary guidance as per Siddha principles for preventing and managing lifestyle diseases.

Dr. Prakash S.L., Camp Coordinator, noted that while Siddha medicine offers effective, low-cost, side-effect-free treatments for chronic conditions, public awareness in Kerala remains limited.
