Free Siddha Medical Camp Held at CTCRI

Thiruvananthapuram: A free Siddha medical consultation camp and health awareness session were jointly organized by ICAR – Central Tuber Crops Research Institute (CTCRI), Sreekaryam, and Santhigiri Siddha Medical College Hospital. The programme was conducted under the initiative of the Srishti Recreation Club of CTCRI.

The camp was led by Dr. Baiju G., Director of CTCRI, with arrangements coordinated by Dr. C. Mohan, Vice President of the club and Principal Scientist, and Harish B. T., Secretary.

A health awareness class on lifestyle-related diseases and Siddha treatment approaches was delivered by Dr. Shraddha Sugathan from Santhigiri. Doctors including Dr. A. Jennifer Lancy, Dr. Asha Vinod, Dr. Krishna S., and Dr. Prakash S. L. examined patients during the camp.

Several officials and staff from Santhigiri also participated in the programme. Many CTCRI employees and their family members attended the camp and benefited from the free consultation and health guidance.
