College Day 2025 – Santhigiri Siddha Medical College | Celebrating Culture & Compassion in Medicine

Santhigiri Siddha Medical College, Pothencode, celebrated College Day 2025 with vibrant cultural performances, inspiring speeches, and enthusiastic student participation. Organized under the leadership of the Student Union, the event reflected the college’s commitment to holistic education—balancing academic excellence with creative expression.

The celebrations were inaugurated by Dr. G. R. Kiran, Director of the Board of Indian Schools – Oman and President of Indian School Muscat. In his keynote address, he emphasized that while artificial intelligence continues to advance, the compassion and healing touch offered by doctors remain irreplaceable. He also shared his vision of establishing a Global University for Siddha Medicine, highlighting its deep connection with nature and humanity.

The event was presided over by Swami Gurusavid Jnana Tapaswi, Head of Santhigiri Medical Education. A special appearance by renowned mentalist Arjun Satheesh added excitement and energy to the occasion.

Dignitaries, faculty members, and student leaders shared encouraging messages. Students from various batches showcased their talents through traditional dance, music, and drama.
