Arts Day 2025 – Santhigiri Siddha Medical College | Cultural Celebration & Student Talent

The Arts Day 2025 celebrations at Santhigiri Siddha Medical College were held from 13th to 14th August 2025, concluding two vibrant days of cultural expression, creativity, and student engagement. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Janani Nishchitha Jnana Tapaswini, College Manager, and presided over by Prof. Dr. R. Neelavathy, Principal, who emphasized the value of arts in holistic education and the college’s leadership among Siddha Medical Colleges in India.

The welcome address by Dr. G. Mohanambigai, followed by special remarks from faculty and PTA members, energized the gathering. A wide range of competitions — including classical and cinematic dance, light music, multilingual speeches, street plays, and mime — showcased students’ artistic talents and cultural pride.

The event reflected Santhigiri’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals by integrating academics with extracurricular excellence, in line with the principles of Siddha Medicine, which promotes balance of mind, body, and spirit.
