Santhigiri Siddha Medical College celebrated the 78thIndependence Day on 15th August 2024 at the college premises. The event organized by the College Student Union, was graced by the presence of Dr. Geetha B., Vice-Principal of the Santhigiri Institute of Paramedical Sciences.Dr. Geetha, who hoisted the National Flag, emphasized the significance of freedom and paid tribute to the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters.

The celebration was attended by Dr. J. Ninapriya, (Professor and Head of the Department of Udal Thathuvam), Mrs. Indu S (Deputy Convenor), Mr. Mahesh M,(Convenor),Hansraj G R (President of PTA ) Dr. L. Sivavenkatesh( AssistantProfessor of Siddha Maruthuva Moolathathuvam), and Mr. Binod K., (Physical Education Director). Other teaching and non-teaching staff, along with students also actively participated in this event. Various cultural events were conducted to mark the occasion.
