As part of the National Anti-Ragging Week Campaign, Santhigiri Siddha Medical College conducted an anti-ragging awareness session on 17/08/2024, Saturday. The session was inaugurated by Suresh R., Assistant Commissioner of Traffic (South), Thiruvananthapuram City.

Adv Devadeth V., Standing Counsel of Santhigiri Ashram and Notary of Government of India provided insights into the legal procedures that students and college authorities must follow in the event of ragging incidents. Samadharaneeya Swami Gurusavidh Jnana Thapaswi, Head of Santhigiri Health Care & Research Organization, was a distinguished presence at the event.Antony Joseph Netto , Sub inspector Narcotics Cell took a session illustrating the crime of ragging. The event was chaired by Prof Dr. D.K. Soundararajan, Principal of the college, and Vice Principal Prof. Dr. P. Hariharan.
