Pharmacovigilance is the science relating to the deduction, assessment, understanding, and prevention of adverse events in medicine. Dr. Nandhini BSMS, M.Sc. (Biomedical Science), who is a Junior Research Fellow from SRRI, was specially presented here to deliver a talk about misleading advertisements. Her talk not only gave knowledge about the disadvantages of fake advertisements in the pharmacology field but also taught how to manage and overcome them. Dr. Merish, MD(s), is a specialist in Siddha pharmacology and also a research associate at SRRI. His presentation covered how adverse drug reactions are handled and managed in the Siddha System of Medicine, which everyone understood. 70 participants mainly from Pharmacology department and college Principal also participated in this seminar. The seminar was grand success, as it was able to attract the attention of all the curious and motivated students who were willing to learn and
