Free Siddha Medical Camp Held at Finished Good Store, Santhigiri Ayurveda & SiddhaVaidyasala, Pothencode.

Thiruvananthapuram: ICAR–Central Tuber Crops Research Institute (CTCRI), Sreekaryam, in association with Santhigiri Siddha Medical College Hospital, organized a free Siddha medical consultation camp and a health awareness programme. The event was conducted under the auspices of the Srishti Recreation Club of CTCRI.

The camp was led by Dr. Baiju G., Director of CTCRI. Dr. C. Mohan, Vice President of the Srishti Recreation Club and Principal Scientist, and Harish B.T., Secretary of the club, coordinated the arrangements for the programme.

As part of the programme, a health awareness class titled “Modern Lifestyle and Siddha Treatment” was delivered by Dr. Shraddha Sugathan from Santhigiri Siddha Medical College. The session explained lifestyle-related diseases caused by modern habits and highlighted the role of Siddha treatment in preventing and managing such conditions. The class also emphasized healthy practices to be followed in daily life.

Medical consultations were conducted by doctors from Santhigiri Siddha Medical College, including A. Jennifer Lancy, Associate Professor, Santhigiri Siddha Medical College, Asha Vinod, Krishna S., and Prakash S.L. Associate Professor, Santhigiri Siddha Medical College.

A large number of CTCRI staff members and their family members attended the camp and benefited from the free Siddha medical services.
